Services - Fees

Retainer

For communications consulting or program management, Avanza prefers to work on a six-month or annual retainer basis. For the contracted period, we provide ongoing communications support (updating web site content, generating new-business proposals, issuing press releases, creating new marketing collateral, helping to identify and pursue sales opportunities, writing bylined trade journal articles, and more.). The engagement involves our committing a specific number of hours per week to advancing your business. The retainer is based on the number of hours you wish us to devote to meeting your needs.

Project fee

For communications planning and content development, Avanza prefers to work on a project-fee basis. We meet with you to identify your needs. Then we will develop a letter of agreement that defines the project scope and fee. If the project later exceeds the agreed-upon scope, we will likely need to expand the terms of our agreement.

Per diem

For projects that don’t fit into neat retainer or project fee arrangements, Avanza works on a per-diem basis. Our minimum per-diem project is one day.
